About the Event
In this three hour session you will be guided through the requirements of safety checks and minimum standards, what is required and what isn't, and a look at the recent and upcoming legislation changes.
You will hear direct from our preferred experts on what they look for in safety checks, what do you actually have to attend to and what is not a safety issue. Then moving on to explain the minimum standards checks and what they look for to determine whether a property does or doesn't comply with the minimum standards, including the standards taking effect in 2027.
David Woolfall will finish the morning with a detailed look at the legislative changes that came into effect in November 2025, those taking effect in October 2026 and other changes currently before parliament.
