I have noted over the past couple of weeks since VCAT's change regarding NTV's for Rent Arrears to the new portal there has been comment or concern regarding the calculations of the rent in arrears amount. This amount as calculated by VCAT will often differ from what your CRM's calculate, for example at day 15 many CRM's will include the 15th Day in the calculation, VCAT's approach is that the 15th day is not in arrears until that day is over so the calculation the portal works out is based on the arrears at the end of day 14.
