Premises destroyed or unfit for habitation (1) A renter may give a residential rental provider a notice of intention to vacate rented premises if the premises— (a) are unfit for human habitation; or
(b) have been destroyed totally or to such an extent as to be rendered unsafe. (2) The notice may specify a termination date that is the date on which the notice is given or a later date.
