Offence to include prohibited term in fixed term rooming house agreement

(1) A rooming house operator or resident must not prepare or authorise the preparation of a fixed term rooming house agreement that contains a term referred to in section 94AD. Penalty: 25 penalty units.

(2) If a fixed term rooming house agreement contains a prohibited term, that term is void and unenforceable.
