More on data breaches
Interesting reading in the wake of recent high profile data breaches. I have discussed concerns with some of our clients over the past couple of weeks and from this article we can see that at a minimum the NSW Tenants Union is thinking about the information asked of tenants, I would assume all tenants unions around Australia are looking at this issue. It wouldn’t surprise me if around Australia governments are encouraged by tenant organisations to look at restricting what we may ask for and also legislate on how we must handle/store/destroy information.
