VIC: Notice of entry

VIC: I have been reading a post on comments on another PM group and wanted to comment here.

I noticed a number of responses indication that if you issue a Notice of Entry that you may enter the property with the office keys even if the renter advises you may not. The fact is whilst the renter has a duty to allow access, if they advise that you are not to enter, then you may not enter, there is a process to follow to obtain a compliance order from VCAT. So, please, under no circumstances enter a property where the renter has said no without having a VCAT determination that allows you to. It will leave you with a legal problem and a risk to your personal

Safety if you do enter when a renter has said you are not to.
