Property Management! The three words!
I often think about how do we summarise what it takes to have longevity and success in property management, and I keep coming back to three words. We work in an emotional industry, dealing with peoples homes and their finances (asset) what a recipe for emotions those two are. As property managers we are right in the middle of these emotions and we need to possess certain qualities or values to navigate the emotions to achieve the best outcomes for all involved. At the core the work of a property manager is not complex, we aren't brain surgeons, but our work encounters the complexity of emotions and if you have good, strong values you will be better placed to earn the trust and respect of those you deal with, and this in turn will lead to longevity and success.
